Assistant Director of Finance

The Kent County Road Commission is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Finance. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Cash Receipts and is also responsible for preparing for various audits and annual reports. Works with the Director of Finance in the management of the Finance Division.

A Bachelors Degree in Accounting with three years of supervision is required. Experience in a governmental setting and knowledge of GASB, cost accounting, and office administration is preferred.

Kent County Road Commission offers a salary range of $53k - $63k, a stable work environment and excellent benefits. For consideration, applications must be submitted by Friday September 3^rd, 2010.
